General Terms of Use
When Typhoon Signal No. 3 or Red Rainstorm Signal is hoisted, all courses, yacht rentals and marine activities will be cancelled. Customers can call the Association to reschedule the course or activity date.Adverse weather arrangements
- In case of bad weather, the shipowner will decide whether to sail or change the itinerary of the day, all based on safety. The shipowner reserves all rights to decide whether to sail or not and the itinerary.
- In the following cases, the sailing schedule will remain normal and no refund will be made:
- i) If the No. 1 typhoon signal is hoisted before sailing; or a red rainstorm signal warning is issued;
- ii) The No. 1 typhoon signal is hoisted before boarding or a red rainstorm warning is issued; or the higher wind signal is hoisted to the No. 1 wind signal two hours before boarding, and the black rainstorm warning signal is downgraded to the red rainstorm warning.
- The charterer should keep in close contact with the shipowner to confirm the itinerary arrangements for that day.
- If the No. 3 typhoon signal or above or the black rainstorm warning signal is still hoisted two hours before boarding time, the itinerary may be rescheduled or cancelled.
Rescheduling (applicable to bookings from April to September):
- The charterer must change the booking from April to September to an equivalent date after October of the same year according to the booking availability; if you want to change to an equivalent date before October of the same year, the charterer may have to bear additional fees (please contact the shipowner for details), and the difference in the updated booking will not be refunded.
Rescheduling (applicable to bookings from October to March):
- Bookings from October to March can be changed to an equivalent date within 3 months of the original date; if you want to change to an equivalent date after 3 months of the original date, the charterer may have to pay additional fees (please inquire with the shipowner for details), and the difference in the updated booking will not be refunded.
Cancellation:
- If you cancel the order, you must pay 50% of the total order amount as a handling fee.
- If the typhoon signal No. 3 or higher or the black rainstorm warning is hoisted during the charter period, according to maritime regulations and safety reasons, the shipowner has the right to return early, and the remaining time will not be compensated, rescheduled or refunded.
- If the reservation needs to be rescheduled or cancelled, all food and drinks in the booking order cannot be changed or cancelled. Due to the food being prepared or other factors, the charterer still needs to bear all costs (please contact the ship owner for details) and pick up the food and drinks at the selected location on time without any compensation.
- All changes must be completed within one week, otherwise it will be deemed to be a waiver of all rights.
- If the ship cannot berth at the designated port due to weather factors or sea conditions, and needs to transfer to another port to board the ship. The charterer must board and disembark at the port recommended by the ship owner.
- The charterer can only change the booking time once.
Cancellation policy
Change booking date
- If the change is made at least 30 days before the embarkation date, the charterer must pay an administrative fee of 10% of the total order amount;
- If the change is made at least 14 days before the embarkation date, the charterer must pay an administrative fee of 20% of the total order amount;
- If the change is made at least 7 days before the embarkation date, the charterer must pay an administrative fee of 50% of the total order amount;
- No changes are allowed within 7 working days of the embarkation date.
- Depending on the availability of the reservation, the reservation can be changed to a date in October or later of the same year. If the date is changed to a date before October of the same year, the charterer must pay an additional handling fee (20% of the total order amount).
- If the date originally booked by the charterer is a weekday, the changed date must also be a weekday; if the date originally booked by the charterer is a holiday, the changed date must be a holiday, and the charterer must bear all the differences in the updated reservation.
- The charterer can only change the reservation time once.
- The charterer cannot choose another ship when changing the reservation.
- If the reservation needs to be rescheduled or cancelled, all food and drinks in the reservation order cannot be changed or cancelled. Due to the food being prepared or other factors, the charterer still needs to bear all costs (please contact the ship owner for details) and pick up the food and drinks at the selected location as scheduled, and no compensation will be made.
- Cancellation
- If the cancellation is made at least 45 days before the embarkation date, the lessor shall pay an administrative fee of 20% of the total order amount;
- If the cancellation is made at least 30 days before the embarkation date, the lessor shall pay an administrative fee of 30% of the total order amount;
- If the cancellation is made at least 14 days before the embarkation date, the lessor shall pay an administrative fee of 50% of the total order amount;
- If the cancellation is not made within 14 working days of the embarkation date.
